The EDA and Chamber's annual reception celebrates the past year's accomplishments in economic development, leadership programs, community growth, and tourism. Chamber members, community supporters, and elected officials are invited to join us for a heavy hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and the presentation of the 2024 Jones County Chamber of Commerce Membership Awards!







 

The Community Champion Award seeks to honor an extraordinary individual or organization that has substantially improved the lives of others in our community. This accolade is for those who have consistently demonstrated their commitment to philanthropy, taken initiative in improving services or projects, and fostered a culture of social responsibility. They've made an indelible impact with noteworthy financial or in-kind support to charities, active and innovative engagement in community projects, and tireless advocacy for local causes. Their leadership, dependability, adaptability, and respectful approach in all their volunteer roles have set them apart. We celebrate their inspiring journey and the positive ripples their actions have created in our community.





The Small Business of the Year Award recognizes a business of 50 employees or less that has proven its merit by demonstrating significant growth, profitability, and financial stability. This esteemed award appreciates a business that stands out by providing high-quality products or services, cultivating exceptional customer experiences, and maintaining a strong reputation within the industry and community. It is for those organizations that prioritize employee development, foster a satisfying work environment, and actively engage in industry or community initiatives. This honor acknowledges the immense contribution of small businesses to our local economy and the commendable entrepreneurial spirit that drives them.





The Service of Excellence Award celebrates an outstanding business of any size, recognized for delivering consistently high-quality service, fostering exceptional customer satisfaction, and continuously innovating in its service delivery. It is granted to organizations that not only uphold a strong reputation and foster customer loyalty but also positively impact their industry or community through their exemplary services. This award embodies the power of commitment and the value of excellence to every customer interaction. It honors the businesses that set the benchmarks in service and inspire others through their exemplary performance.



The Leadership Award honors an individual who demonstrates exceptional leadership and vision, driving significant organizational accomplishments and growth while maintaining high ethical standards. This leader is known for innovation, community involvement, mentorship, and collaboration, contributing to the organization?s success, sustainability, and the betterment of Jones County.



The Woman of Influence award celebrates an individual who demonstrates exceptional leadership, vision, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace while actively engaging in community initiatives and corporate social responsibility. She is a mentor and advocate for gender diversity, supports the professional growth of others, particularly women, and is recognized for her personal achievements, resilience, and contributions to her field.

Rules

• Eligibility: Only Jones County Chamber of Commerce members can nominate and vote for the Membership Awards.
• Nominations Period: Members can nominate deserving candidates starting on 8/22/24 and ending on 8/29/24 at 5 p.m. No nominations will be accepted after this deadline.
• Voting: The voting period will commence on 9/3/24 and conclude on 9/9/24. Any votes registered after this period will not be considered.
• One Vote Per Member: Each member is entitled to one vote only.
