History comes alive this May at Landrum’s Homestead & Village!
Join us on Saturday, May 20th, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to see what life was like way back when! We will have music from Southern Strings Dulcimers, broom-making demonstrations, a blacksmith, wood carvers, cloggers, an antique engines and tool show, quilters, and a soldier’s encampment.
In addition to seeing and hearing the past, visitors will taste the past with biscuit-making and butter-churning demonstrations, with samples being served throughout the day. Kennedy Gristmill will provide demonstrations and sell fresh corn mills for visitors to take home to cook their own treats!
We will also have plate lunches and homemade ice cream available. This one-of-a-kind event could only take place at our one-of-a-kind homestead.
We hope to see you there!
